29/30 of October Friday and Saturday night.
$80 to cover food and some drink.
This is all subject to change. The more people we get, the more extensive the menu gets. :-)
Plus, we will be purchasing house cans of coke, house lemonade, milk, butter, coffee, tea, sugar, etc etc...
Any money left over will get a few bottles of nice wine. Beyond this, the weekend is BYO alcohol.
Dinner on Friday will either be tacos or nachos, or maybe spaghetti bolognaise.
Plus expect to be running around in the dark drunk and screaming and playing games like Killer. Or else running around the hut drunk and screaming playing games. *shrug* Food might also be more interesting depending on when I can get down there.
Breakfast Saturday morning:
Probably pancakes, bacon, eggs, coffee, toast and OJ
Lunch: :-) I am open to suggestions here. We have a tradition of eating so much sh*t we're not hungry for dinner. I'd love to avoid this, and yet still have lunch easy to make. What shall we have?
Dinner:
Thinking Carrot and Orange soup for entree.
Probably a roast of roasty goodness for mains. Pork stuffed with cidery (read drunk) apricots?
Something sticky and probably chocolatey or caramelly for dessert.
Sunday: Left overs. :-)
Hey, PRK has just pointed out that the sunday is All Hallow's Eve... and in the Celtic times, such days were counted from sundown to sundown, which includes the night of the 30th *grin*
Maybe there should be some pumpkin involved....
Maybe we should make some jackolanterns or something amusing during the day.
Cost is $80 a head. We got the last cottage too people, the original weekend I wanted was booked out, and there was only one free cottage on either side of that weekend! Picked this weekend so it's as far away from Wastelands as possible to give people some time to recover.
And if you haven't joined the yum cha list, then do so! In future, real details like the ones above will be posted to that list so that it doesn't clutter up my LJ too much. Like I don't have enough to talk about what's going on in the current, let alone my plannings!
