callistra: Fuschia from Sinfest crying her heart out next to Hell's flames (Good as Gold AOL)
Ok, I spose I should update instead of flirting outrageously with dangerous young men hyped on antihistimenes *grin*

I am listening to Wumpscutt! Yay Wumpscutt! And Chesh has downloaded "In Silence"! Even greater wheeeeeeees! I love my music. Someone saying to me "So... tell me about this Covenant band, I heard some and I'm interested" can be misheard as "Tell me about your religion. I heard some the other day and want to be converted" *grin*

I seem to have hurt my wrists, both in different ways. In my left, it seems to be out a tad, and so I can't really use it to lean on or twist the hand around much or anything. The right one just seemed slightly cranpy in the muscles. Weird. But I can still do all the important things (Type. Flirt. Lie outrageouly. Er. Yeah. Ring people excitedly about the FOUR NEW STYLES of lingerie which are being released in a week or two. I get a sneak peek on Thursday! Yay! ) I almost feel guilty telling people because I know they want it, they will want it bad!!

I have vacuumed half the pool. Ignored the dishes. Thankfully there's not many, I'm just slacking. Rung people about having lingerie parties. Emailed multitudes of people about Stuff(TM). Discovered [livejournal.com profile] amarillion. Thought about the piles and piles of big fat country farm lemons in the bottom of my fridge awaiting juicing. Ignored cats. Let cats in. Been ignored by cats. Emailed more people and apologised about being so burnt out last week I failed to provide wine. Thought about birthday. Promoted birthday. Any one who comes wearing a hawaiian shirt gets a Freddo Frog. Realised birthday is about 6 weeks to go, and so far we have grass, and that's about it.
:-) Got a phone call from my favouritest ever person in Perth at the moment. :-) I'm looking forward to spa-y goodness on Wednesday. Which reminds me, I need to orgisanize spa for birthday. And start a guest list. Um. Paper invites. Um. Yeah.

Friday night was ex-work related Committee dinner, probably the last time I get anything except pens for free from the software's company. Saturday, we discovered that a long cherished symbol of our house has finally died. Yes, the rubber maid's outfit, which almost every one under the sun has worn at least once at a dinner party if the dinner party is going well, has finally died. But that's ok, we had a lot of fun with it *sniff* and it did last about 6 or 7 years. Murray and Verne make good rubber. *sniff* And we got to have fun with the remnants too. *grin* Sunday we went to lunch with Swancon Committee, it was nice. I always find it amusing to go to different yum-cha places, it's always weird in the similarities and differences. I was greedy and had TWO tarts! TWO! Aren't I evil? Then we had the committee meeting, and I got rid of all the money I have been spending. Yay! Byebye monies! I was proud that I did NOT volunteer for anything more than I currently have. I'll probably list my current on the go projects at the bottom of this entry, cos I like to know what I am doing. :-) Sunday night we cruised to Lee and Lyns and watched Hudson Hawk, which WAS pretty bad. It was so disparate; it never quite hung well together. It had interesting *bits* but no coherency, and then suddenly it goes slapstick at the end??? WTF? (By the way, I hate slapstick. Just want to beat people with a stick whenever I see it. Ha ha. Or maybe I want to slap them with a stick... anyways) and then an extra lucky extra special episode of chances where Alex gets tied to a bed naked by pretty much every chickie he talks to. B00bies!

Chesh came home for lunch today which was nice. Yesterday I had my first ever experience of some one ringing me out of the blue and saying "I need to have a lingerie party NOW!" I'm in awe. Given how hard it was to get Tupperware parties, I am in awe. I have been ringing people all morning to organize parties; I need it for spending money on my next holiday! I have two weekend slots on the first weekend of November free, and week days are always good. or else I have the last weekend in November free too, except for a committee meeting, but I *really* need money now that I have given swancon back it's money! LOL! And the week after that, I tackle Geraldton and the week after that is my birthday party! Gah!

I need the next thingy in my diary NOW. I just booked a party into January, and it had to go into the "pre-planner" section, not the "planner" section. Ok, I should go and do dishes or pool or something. Starting to feel guilty. :-)

Projects on the go:

My Birthday. (Spas, hula hoops, pinatas, pina coladas, hawaiian shirts, the lot. Food and drink etc provided.)
Fundraising. We have a new batch of wine for sales. I need to sort out the flyer and then release it into the wild. Plus arrange for wines to be delivered and picked up and drunk. Oh, and I need to order some in for my birthday. *grin* Plus I am sorting out the T-Shirts, so I am also doing research to ensure these people we already have are the most cost effective.
Lingerie - I have four parties is total, two have been moved indefinately for a bit, and Albany to sort out.
Fairbridge - This week. Food, emails to remind people what to bring. (well, tell them, since reminding implies previous warning, which they have not yet had. *grin*) Pinatas to find. I *like* pinatas.
Margaret River Actually, that's Mynxii's boat, I'm just along for the ride. ;-)

Ok, I have to upload Wreath of Barbs - Dismantled Version too now. *grin*

*knock knock*
I'd like to talk to you about the music....
The music in your soul....
*sighs*

Ok, happy thoughts, off to vacuum pool and do dishes. Or vacuum dishes and do pool?
:-)

And is it you on the antihistamines or the dangerous young men? And how come you get dangerous young men and I do not? *pout* Have him scrubbed and sent to my tent...

If I could get him scrubbed and sent to MY tent I'd be happy...

I must see if he is still too cash strapped to make it to Fairbridge. That was his last excuse a few months ago....

:-)

You know, I can see us being very terrible together. Suddenly, next Swancon is looking very, very interesting. And such a small hotel - I imagine some people are going to feel like they will never be able to get away from us.....

BTW, I have an idea for when you come back home for a bit. I'll email you about it and see what you think.

This is my favourite sentence so far.
