We weren't necessarily talking about people what actually did stuff, more of the role models girls had available, and the way the movies handled female characters and the interpretations of such. Discussion ranged to Sigourney Weaver in Aliens. Kind of a varied discussion.
I see. Still, to me, a buffed up (or not) woman picking up guns and being violent isn't a feminist icon. To be a feminist icon, does a woman have to behave like a man?
