Today, I managed to get out of the house! Well, actually, the entire fambly managed it on Sunday to mother's house for lunch, but I'm not convinced walking across the road counts. Today however I left Sproglet with Chesh and went to Coles!! OoooOOoooOOOooooOOooo. Those of you who have children will appreciate the amazingness of this exercize. but wait... there's more!!

We gave Sproglet to mum after his 4:00 feed and raced off to Maddington to buy vegies!!! WOW! Be still my beating heart! Now we're settling in for a quick coffee and sticky before we race over to save him from his grand mother's attentions. :-)

On Friday Matt and Lucretiae bought over food. There was salami. There was pate. There was ripened creamy camembert. There was ricotta and duck egg canneloni. There was calzone. There was so much food we have some of it frozen. Oh it was soooooo good. The pate was the best pate I have ever eaten. The camembert was so creamy and oozy and properly ripened and oooo so good. The salami was great too. Mmmmmmmmmm....

Sproglet has been on a four hour cycle until today/last night. I think we're trying to sort out what foods I can eat that he is Ok with - I think we can cross "too much garlic" and "brussel sprouts" off the list. And when he doesn't like the food, he eats less of it. Hence the three hour cycle for the past day and half. A toasted cheese and tomato sandwich for lunch, and he seems to be back onto the four hour cycle thing. Things you learn the hard way. :-)

Yes, we're sleep deprived. Thanks for asking. But we're holding together. Chesh has to go back to work tomorrow though. *sigh* But I have a meeting with the community nurse tomorrow! That should be interesting! :-)

Good to hear things are going well .

I hope the community nurse is nice and not a nurse rachet/nazi like some of them can be, if not you can try dazzling her with your personality and laugh.

The dinner sounded yummy and I'm not surprised Vincent doesn't like you eating Brussel Sprouts , Ken reckons that children/babies hate brussel sprouts but for some reason adults can tolerate maybe they are too bitter for kids .

My mum was told when she couldn't have chocolate when my sister was born cos it would give the baby diarrhea , she was annoyed at my sister years later.

The food preferences are cute. They seem totally reasonable to me!

Brussels sprouts well, that's understandable in its own right. Even for those who really like garlic, I can't imagine garlic flavoured milk being a big hit. I'll check the flavoured milk section of the supermarket just in case, but I'm pretty sure it's not there. :)
