Vincent Update

He has not put on weight. He has not, however, lost weight. Results on urine tests will bein tomorrow, and today he gave some blood for some more tests. Meanwhile, I am to feed him BF as much as possible, and then offer him up to 60 mLs of formula after each feed. For his length/growth, by now he should be about 5 kilos. Which means he is down one quarter of his current body weight, which is still about 4.

Sorry meljane, because of the blood tests and stuff we didn't make it to Maddington at all. I'll organise something with you later. Right now, I need some quiet time with Vincent!

i'm glad he hasn't lost weight, and i hope the blood test and urine tests come in normal.

Not losing weight is a really good thing, and I could have told you about the pediatric bags, if I hadn't been swamped by my own life. Sorry 'bout that.

and a baby can put on a pound a week easily, so I think you'll find his weight will come up now quite quickly.

and if you need a hand interpreting anything someone medical says, I can translate in and out of plain English too.
