Today was a Poo
Mar. 6th, 2007 08:10 pmToday was a Poo. Not as Pooey as Llbatt's last few days, but still Poo.
-It's too hot. Too fucking hot. I think my beans are burned beyond recognition in the garden.
-It was too hot to sleep well.
-V woke up at 4 in the morning because of the heat
-And didnt want to go back to bed until 5:30
-I woke up tired and dizzy
-Eventually got an email saying we do not have an auspicing body. *sigh* Understandable but still minor cranky. Basically, I think we're going to be missing any grants for Femmeconne this year.
-My Mum rang and woke me up during my attempted nap, leaving me groggy and dizzy and tired.
-Rang my mum back to discover that she had to have Tacoes (the "family" dog, but really my brother's dog,) put down.
-On my brother's 30th birthday.
*sigh*
-We only put Nachoes down a few weeks ago. Mum didn't want to be the one to put Tacoes down as she had been the one to put Nachoes down, and she was still upset about that. I'm upset now that both of them are gone. And that i failed to call back immediately, where I could have at least held Mum's hand.
-It's 37.9 degrees outside. This is a drop of 3 degrees in the past hour.
Highlights:
-Vinnie is gorgeous.
-It's 26.1 degrees inside, and has been since about 10:00
-I have a fridge full of vegies
-I have a freezer full of meat
-I have a pantry full of herbs and spices and flour
-I have a tummy full of Thai Beef Salad and Beckett's Flat Rose. And Bourbon and Cola.
I still feel like crying at a moment's notice.
