callistra: Fuschia from Sinfest crying her heart out next to Hell's flames (Good as Gold AOL)
-Just wrote my plan for nanowrimo06. It's called "Discourses with a Poly Pagan Parent", and is, of course, all about me. :-) If you think I should create a chapter on something, let me know. I'm not going to publish the list here, since I'lll get all shy, and what on earth would happen if someone would actually want to read it?

-Have been working on artwork for Lily. I got mine from her the other day, and it was awesome and confronting and amazing and beautiful and had me in tears while I grokked it. I'm just awed at it, and hoping that the return one is ...well, it won't be quite so awe inspiring I don't think! But I have been working on ideas, and I am really looking forward to actually doing it. My sketches, however, suck. But I shall persevere!

-Replaying Zelda. Yeah. Hmmm. It's there. :-)

-Interesting discussions about slash on MOB's blog, but I think it may have been derailed by now. Would love to get into more discussions about gender, deconstruction of, masculine gaze and female sexuality some more, but then I might need to think about it some more as well. I remember phrases from uni more and more as we talk about this sort of thing. (Hermeneutic circle was one of my favourites, and to see MOB use it the other day made me giggle with delight.)

-Melbourne Cup Day. I have started an email. I wrote down some email address in a new email. Um. That's as far as my planning has gone. :-)

-Dinner Party. I've had the urge to do a really nice dinnerparty for a while, and John brought it up today, out of the blue. So now we have a potential guest list, and a potential menu, I should probably email some people about a potential date. Potentially. :-)

-Dr_K. Still wanting to catch up, reasonably non-plussed as to how to fit our lives together. We're like jigsaw puzzles where one is of the sky and the other is of the sea, and the peices will just never .... quite .... fit .... together... Which reminds me I want to paint some ocean. :-)

-Budget. Well, we didn't buy dinner! Yay! So far this month, have not bought take away dinner. Lunches, however.... but they keep me sane, so I figure any cost is worth that, and so does john. I think we're both glad that I'm not a shopaholic or anything. :-)

-I was talking about setting up a community called perth_coop, or perth_cooperative so that we can utilize our friends to buy more stuff. Example being, the vanilla purchase however long ago that was. I'd be maintainer, I have no idea how much work I just said I would do :-) but I think it would be worth it. Does any one else think it would be worth it? As maintainer, I must point out, I would not be finding deals for us all, just monitoring to make sure that the purchases are in a similar format and have closing dates and payment dates and etc. I want *every one else* who finds, for example, a kilo of vanilla, to be able to use the community to find people to buy it with.

Ok, I should go and either work on some artwork for some people, or spend some brain cells with Link. I sure am spamming every one today!

Who knows!

I was thinking most likely... but as time passes and Bilby still isn't here... I'm not sure. Will definitely be here by that point though... we'll see:-)

I am a bit behind the times on the Slash/feminism discussion on MOB's blog in that I have been reading surreptitiously opinions from work and could not reply. I have some strong opinions that I am happy to share in a verbal setting. A great discussion!

Yeah. It also feels weird me discussing it because I'm not into slash, nor the community that surrounds it, and the slash I used to read was from when Xena was still on TV. :-)
