We just went through the phone list to see if there was any one else I wanted toinvite to my going away lunch next Friday. Kind of depressing really. :-(
Plus we had James' going away today, which was even more depressing. :-((
It's walking distance from work, so that's where we're all going. Actually, I'm not as depressed as I thought I was going to be for James - I almost cried a couple of times, but the time I got *most* teary was Thursday morning. I got a goodnight's sleep Thursday night so that's probably why I was more in control the next day. :-)
But it's all so sad as we all just fade away, one at a time. Poor Rebecca is getting more and more depressed each time (she's the lady who's job I'm trying to learn) and then next week, I'm the last one to go out of 8 support staff. Outsourcing sucks.
And then, I go to Melbourne. I hope I'm not too mopey for the first few days in Melbourne! :-)
For James' lunch yesterday, I had their "Darwin Chicken" which is a chicken breast stuffed with mango, with avocado slices on top, in a chardonay cream sauce with onion marmalade. That's another reason why we picked the seven mile. *grin*
