I picked some broad beans for dinner tonight. They turned out to be the size of peas! We got a tiny handful each, which was cool. But yay, dinner from the garden! I'll wait longer next time LOL
You need to leave them until they're visibly bulging in the bean cases. Unsuitable analogies come to mind! It shouldn't take too long; I've been picking my bbs for a few days now and they were planted in late April.
