Any ideas as to what to do with a sudden deluge of small nashis? We don't actually eat them. Can I make nashi pie?

I can't remember whether you eat meat, but you can make nashi sauce like applesauce and serve it with roast pork or pork chops.

You could also juice them, or layer them on an upside-down teacake.
