Update: He said he wanted to go. He's now in, the painting of the map is started, beans are cooking, and jackie is down for a nap. I need to re-org my whiteboard lists, have a coffee, and plan the remaining day.

Date: 2008-09-15 01:45 am (UTC)From:Picnic ended up getting a little washed out - was just way too windy and cold, but we took mum to the kitchen which overlooked the 'dolphin pond' (a glorified patio/bbq area) so she got outdoors for a few minutes and at least got to see sun and trees. And have 'real' food...I made quiche and salad and took wine. She's really over hospital food.
