The trailer for Chronicles of Riddick was enough to put me off. And from the reviews I've read it sounds like the steaming pile of crap it the trailer presented.

The plots better than most in the cinemas? Not really a high recommendation there.

And Vin Deisel. Feh.

I have to admit, however, that I didn't go for the plot. I've been telling people it's likely to be crap since they announced it. So it was heaps heaps heaps better than expected.

Karl Urban was an unexpected bonus, all the corsetry was an even more unexpected bonus, and I'm just going to have to give in and a) find all the porn I wrote about Pitch Black (Don't worry, there's only one peice I think) and 2) admit I like Vin Desiel.

I have a weakness for Riddick I guess. Oh, Vin, such sites to show you! Demons to some, angels to others....

I was genuinely expect them to fuck him over and make him some "convict with a heart of gold." If I continue this rant, there will be spoilers and my coffee will get cold, so I will do this rant later. Probably tomorrow at this rate. Then, at least, people can expect even more coherency.

Oh. And Vin. *ah* ahem. He arouses a ... certain part of me.... you have to remeber, there's a 2 minute segment of Pitch Black I watched over and over and over.... and it involves a bit... and a lot of straining ..... *sigh*

Can't remember where I saw or heard the mention but it has been suggested that this Vin Diesel entity is very keen to do a movie about Hannibal. The Carthaginian general who fought against the Romans that is. If so I expect this would involve Mr Diesel being dressed in leather and armour with lots of action scenes. Sort of like mr Crow as a Roman general. It's possible you might enjoy Mr Diesel in such a role.
