1) We meet at 11:00 at Sandalford Estate. (It's a major winery, I can't point any one at any useful thingies right now to locate it however, as I am rushing off to a different picnic!)
We taste wine.
2) we then go to Ribbonvale for a bit.
We taste wine.
3) We go to Houghtons estate, and pick a patch of grass, lay on it and eat.
We drink wine. :-)
So far, Matt is doing a greek salad and a potato salad, I am doing chicken legs.
Can people please bring one of the following. This way we spread the cost out. I don't expect any one to pay more than $10 unless they're feeling enthoosled.
1) Dip and bikkies
2) More salad(s)
3) A fruit platter?
4) Sausages we can cook up or something top go with the salads
5) Bread (pullaparts or bunsies)
4) anything the hell else we wish to bring.
and we all share.
Also, bottle openers would be a wise idea. Oh, and picnicky types of games. Balls for children to run off and chase. You know, the usual sort of picnicky thing. :-) Please bring drinks for yourself. Or should we add softdrink to the list above and someone just buys about$10 worth of soft drink? Blankets are always good.
Ok, I have to run now, and get ready for today's picnic!
