Albany, Blah de Blah, Chirp Chirp Chirp, oooo and Birthday

Well, I'm off to Albany today, a lovely 5 or so hour drive to sell lingerie. I'm looking forward to it! I hope to book at least two parties for next year down there too, one in Bridgetown I expect, and another one in Albany. I have rellies down there, but unfortunately for today they are on holidays, out gallivanting around in entirely the wrong city and not at home at all. *sigh* :-) So, I will be sleeping with the hostess. Er. At the hostess's house. But next time I go down I should be staying with my aunt and uncle, and Mother will becoming along too and we shall have some Quality Time. (TM) The scary things about this trip down south is not the drive, nor the party, or anything like that, but the fact that Becky and her partner start work at 5AM and so I might need to be out of there by then too! Eeeep! Well, at least I will have had a few hours sleep before time to move on! :-)

I should get together some of my gift boxes apparently some of the men are coming after the trip to the pub to see if there is stuff they would like to get for their girlfriends for christmas, and if they buy something I have there with cash then I will give them a prety box to go with it.

Party party party! My thanks to my lovely husband who has done HEAPS of work on the house! We did an hour together on Sat, went shopping, came home, I passed out, and Chesh kept working working working ALL WEEKEND! Wow! The house is almost done now; getting bloody close. The fairy lights are up and look fantastic, we bought some candles on a stick for down the side of the house where we will be guiding people to go, rather than through the house. I bought some ticky tacky stuff to make sure we're all going to be properly tropical *giggle* and this is going to ROCK! When I get back, I will need to sort out getting some rum and pina colada ingredients. I am sure I will need to practice this. Quite a lot perhaps. *grin* So I can be sure of being able to make them even when trashed. *grin* I do have plans for a punch too, which might be non-alcoholic. We have heaps of softdrink, a crate of champagne, STUFF! (tm) I also need about ten million freddo frogs cos every one is coming tropical somehow! Yay!

*bounce* If you haven't decided if you're coming yet or not, COME! Let me know! So I can make more pina coladas! :-) We have beef, pork, chicken, and tomorrow night when I get home we'll be working on marinating fetta and olives and stuff, plus we have heaps of antipasto stuff, there will be huge salads, and I have no idea about desserts. I got 4 kilos of jelly crystals, but I am scared because apparently desserts are "covered." What this really means, I don't know. :-) And every time I mention 4 KILOS of jelly crystals people look at me strangely and then go "....so do you have a wading pool then..." to which I'd like to say No! Well, Yes! But not for jelly! *grin*

I'm not going to any canberra cons next year, but at Continuum, last time I was there, the only room parties I found were the ones I was having!

I did expect more from Melbourne, but I guess it was just not to be...

Afraid not. I definitly need to move house next year and that requires lots of my spare cash and energy.
